An incredible and magical

Sabrina Zuber

About me

Need for Beauty (in its broadest sense) and the need to share are at the center of my artistic approach. I believe that Art is a form of universal energy that brings us all together. Very determined and with a keen sense of aesthetics, I constantly seek to connect with others by sharing my passion and my vision through the exploration of artistic disciplines and original means of expression.

After a myriad of academic studies (literatures and languages, management of cultural projects, communication) and at the same time artistic (piano, classical singing, dance and rhythmic gymnastics), life took me to Southeast Asia, where my artistic language was hatched by drawing, among others, from traditional disciplines such as yoga, tai chi and qi gong.

For 18 years in Asia, I collaborated with theaters and museums, as project manager, artistic director, producer. I created artistic bridges between Europe and Asia; I have carried out educational projects for schools and for the general public; I worked in the corporate and events sector; I ran a small independent dance school.

When I created labellepoque I wanted to convey a positive message, because I am convinced that – despite the tensions and contradictions of contemporary society – creativity and the arts allow us to find balance and human meaning.

Labellepoque develops a work of artistic creation transverse and multidisciplinary, which aims to bring together different forms of art to enrich our cultural expression. OUR gait wants to be resolutely transnational, promoting exchanges and collaborations beyond borders. We also grant a particular attention to the challenges of our society, seeking to address contemporary themes that affect us.

They talk about me

Dr Robert Casteels

Composer/pianist/conductor

For 18 years in Singapore, I collaborated with Sabrina Zuber and Bellepoque in repertoires as varied as opera, operetta, melody, musical comedy and theater. These high-level productions were enriching artistic journeys for the audience, the performers and myself, whether as musical director, conductor, pianist or composer. With perseverance and constantly renewed enthusiasm, Sabrina has never ceased to amaze us.

Dr. Thomas Manhart

Musicologist and singing teacher

Beside her creativity and her own arts practice, Sabrina Zuber convinces me in collaborations repeatedly with well thought-through yet flexible and open-minded conceptualization and detailed structure of all processes. She is a doer and a thinker, a hands-on and brains-on person, and above all a heart-on creative.

Yeo Hon Beng

Artistic director of Ageless Theater, theater practitioner, lighting designer.

Sabrina Zuber is a dedicated producer, a curious artist, a cheerful performer, an engaging collaborator, and a most comforting family friend. His rigor and vitality are the uncompromising driving forces of Bellepoque’s artistic achievements. Our creative collaborations are based on transparency, respect for multiculturalism and the sincere pursuit of multidisciplinary explorations. His enthusiastic willingness and ability to work with me in good humor, respect and humor say a lot about this wonderful being.

Emmanuelle Grizot

Star dancer at the Bordeaux Opera, choreographer

I met Sabrina in Singapore when she came to try my dance class and we hit it off immediately.

Her brain is always racing for the next show she is going to create and/or produce.

She has the talent to bring together artists from several backgrounds, to unite them, which gives rise to productions based on several mediums and therefore multidisciplinary.

In addition to her role as producer, she slips with relish into her skin as a singer and dancer because she loves being on stage.

I have collaborated on several occasions with Sabrina and each time it has been a real pleasure.

Dr. Veronica Manson

Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Singapore

Sabrina is a serious professional, has a very open character and a curious mind which leads her to a fruitful and creative activity. I really appreciate her sincere passion about all artistic expressions, her restless quest for creative exploration and her solid belief in intercultural exchanges. I also think that one of her most distinctive traits is her resilience and energy.
